No meeting held to finalize it

Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 8: Blame it on the irresponsible attitude of a senior faculty of Dogri Department, the syllabus of B.A. Sem-I has not been fianlized and classes have got underway without any syllabus and literature.
Sources told Early Times that it has been more than a week since the classes of BA Semester-I have begun but the Convener Dogri has failed to finalize the syllabus due to which the students have been suffering huge losses in their studies and teachers are clueless due to non-finalization of syllabus.
Even the syllabus of a new subject under the name of 'Communication Dogri' introduced in under graduate level has not been prepared by the Convener, they said further adding that the syllabus of all graduation and post graduation classes has to be prepared by the Convener Dogri who is the responsible to finalize it before the beginning of classes so that students may not suffer and classes be conducted smoothly but if sources are to be believed the Convener has failed to hold meeting to finalize it.
Shockingly, the syllabus of Dogri subject has not been uploaded on Jammu University website for the last two years. "Presently around 25 Assistant Professors of Dogri are posted in various colleges across Jammu region who are drawing huge salary but due to absence of syllabus these teachers are sitting idle," they informed. It has also been learnt that the gross mistakes were observed in the Dogri question papers of last three, four years and some of them were found out of syllabus which were also finalized by the Convener Dogri.
