Sham for resolving popular grievences through talks, demands Jammu's participation too

jammu, Aug 8: Sr Vice President JKPCC and Former Minister Congress Sham Lal Sharma today advocated for engaging all the stake holders in bilateral talks to find out permanent solution of the popular grievances, aimed to restore normalcy and political stability in the state.
While addressing monthly meeting of BCC Akhnoor Sham said that current unrest was an outcome of the wrong policies and mishandling of the situation on the part of the BJP PDP Govt. He said that BJP-PDP alliance proves to be a disastrous alliance for J&K.
Mr Sharma demanded that center govt while inviting the all stake holders for bilateral talks should ensure the participation of Jammu and Kashmir state all regions and their representatives in particular Jammu region also.
He reiterated neglecting Jammu region will intensifies the brewing discontentment among this region people in particular youth who suffers a lot due to worst ongoing unrest in the valley. Sharma demanded that empowerment of Jammu has become imperative as this region is soul bridge between Kashmir and Delhi kept survived the secular and nationalistic aspirations, which would only provide sustainable substance to Jammu and Kashmir state as integral part of union of India.
'Terrorism has no place in the civilized society who made long sojourn on democratic dimensions, he underlined. He lambasted BJP who for the sake of power and their hidden agenda of Kashmir mission soon after grabbing power in haste bargained with PDP and its CM to undertaken controversial and sensitive issues such as pandits and Sainik colonies, allegedly spoiled the cordial environment in Kashmir Mr Sharma condemned shortsightedness of power hungry BJP.
Recalling Jammu people has accommodated migrants from Kashmir irrespective of their religion or faith, Mr Sharma added Jammu trader, businessman and industrialist despite irrational treatment functioned to contribute significantly in survival of state economy. Making a dig on BJP, Sharma questioned whether betrayers of Jammu have time to provide them any special package? Unemployment ,standstill developmental activities and neglect of rural masses, old age citizen, if not BJP PDP priorities to attend, He also said that employees from Jammu working in darbar or in other parts of Kashmir who are presently stuck in ongoing turmoil should be provided with proper security to avoid any mishappening as they are having threat from various antinational elements which are creating Kashmir unrest. He also demanded immediate Relief and Compensation for the suffers of recent flood caused by heavy rains in the Jammu region and early restoration of damaged infrastructure. Among those who were present are Kuldeep Raj Verma, Subash Langer, Sham Lal Choudhary, Krishan Lal,Raj Rani,Vijay Jammwal, Naresh Dutt.
