Temporary shops installed to meet needs of consumers | | | Early Times Report
Poonch, Oct 9: With government nowhere in sight and no instant help received from administration, residents of Saujiyan area of Poonch, who suffered a major loss of their shops in recent shelling of Pakistan today started four temporary shops to ensure that locals of the area do not face any kind of shortage of basic needs. These shops were made functional in presence of youth NC Provincial President, Ajaz Jan who is camping in the area for healing touch to the affected people. All the four temporary shops have been started in temporary structures which have been managed by the locals of the area. Meanwhile YNC Provincial President Ajaz Jan termed the silence attained by the state government towards the shelling sufferers as highly unfortunate." Even after six days of shelling and damage to more than 28 shops, not even a single leader from state government bothered to visit the area to share the pain of poor people and such callous approach clearly represents the careless behave of government " Jan said. Jan also added in the statement that so far Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti has not uttered even a single word for shelling victims as more than two dozen families lost their alone source of income. " What can we expect from a government when it is not even bothering to say even a single word " Jan added. Meanwhile interacting with the people of the area during opening of four temporary shops in the area, YNC Provincial President Ajaz Jan said that National Conference will stand with them in every tough minute and leaders of the party are always available for sharing their pain. |
