Many people return unhappy, not allowed to go ahead on security reasons | Chief Justice visits his native Village | | Early Times Report
Banihal, Oct 9 : During the visit of Chief justices of India to his native village Batroo Ukharal in district Rambanon Sunday-many locals were reached to Makerkote on highway to give warm welcome to their son of soil. The local people reached here from other villages were stopped at Makerkote on highway some eight kilo meter before from the Ukhral venue on security reasons. Many locals including elders and youths return unhappy. An old aged man Roshan Din of Lanka Magerkote while talking to Early Times said that he was the friend of DD Thakur and wanted to meet Chief Justice but due to security reasons he was not allowed to go a head near venue. The heavy motor vehicles was not allowed on highway from Sunday morning and only rear LMVes were given permission to move on highway by the authorities . Local Media was also not allowed during this visit . The locals of the village Batroo were seen happy on the visit of Chief Justices TS Thakur in his native village Batroo UKhral. Villagers give him warm welcome with slogans .Different Deput-ations of District Ramban meet with cheif Justice and give him memorandum of their problems. Permanent to mention during the Visit of Chief Justice no vehicle was allowed when he reached here Makerkote from Batote. The ever busy Jammu Srinagar highway were seen quiet for more than three hours. |
