Training program on Hygienic handling of fish organized 10/9/2016 11:32:22 PM Early Times Report Kishtwar, Oct 9: Department of Fisheries District Kishtwar organized a one day training program on "Hygienic handling of Fish" at Kishtwar. The program was attended by 25 No's of Fishermen and Fish rearers of the District. Besides Assistant Director Fisheries Doda (Resource person for the said program) K. B. Verma, Assistant Director Fisheries District Kishtwar M. M. Mintoo and other officials of the Department also attended the program. While deliberating Asstt. Director Fisheries Kishtwar stressed on the importance of maintaining the hygienic condition of Fish after harvesting. The resource person for the said program deliberated on various methods to be employed for maintaining the hygienic condition of fish after harvesting till marketing. The importance of fresh fish and the ill effects spoiled fish were also highlighted in the program.
