| JKLADCSA to observe pen down strike on Nov 17 | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 3: Jammu Kashmir & Ladakh All Departments Clerical Staff Association extended its support to complete pen down strike on November 16 and assembly of employees in front of Press Club, Jammu on November 17 in support of clerical cadre employees.
Addressing press conference, Babu Hussain Malik, State President of Jammu Kashmir & Ladakh All Departments Clerical Staff Association others all the representatives in one voice appealed to all the clerical cadre employees and other employees of Jammu Division to support the call.
He said that clerical employees are fighting tooth and nail to get the matter of removal of pay anomalies settled once for all. He appealed to all the district bodies of employees to assemble in their individual District Development Commissioner's office and submit the memorandum to the concerned District Development Commissioner. The members of the Association condemned the previous State Government for deliberately betraying from the commitment made between the employees and the Government on 10-03-2008, 19-02-2009, 14-05-2010 & 15-09-2011 wherein it was promised to fulfill all the agreed demands of the employees including pay anomalies of the clerical cadre but nothing was done till date. The government is not removing the pay anomalies of the poor clerical cadre rather the wages of the legislatures are increased from time to time without any financial constrains.
