Pari's health improving, Parents in Panic | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 3: Showing signs of gradual recovery, 14 months old Pari, who had sustained injuries in her neck and spine and lost four members of her family in the intense Pak shelling, is recouping in GMC hospital. Her wounds have started to heal and she is being continuously monitored by a team of specialist doctors. However, despite the clear cut directions from the State Government to provide all medical facilities to victim of cross border firing, Pari received treatment after a gap of 24 hours causing great inconvenience to family of 14 months old Pari who has been fighting for her life since sustained injuries. Talking to media, Pari's aunt expressed anguish against State government for failure to provide facilities to the victim family. She said that every help was being provided by the Army. Head of Unit II, Dr Tariq Azad (General Surgeon) where girl is undergoing treatment, told that condition of Pari had improved and her wounds had started to heal but it may take a few more days to heal completely. When contacted Medical Superintendent of GMC&H Jammu Dr Romesh Gupta said the girl is undergoing treatment and has shown signs of gradual recovery. Leader of opposition in the Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad accompanied by former Minister Sham Lal Sharma and hospital administration interacted with cross border firing and shelling victims undergoing treatment at different wards of GMC&H Jammu. "The injured girl is very cute and we will pray for her to recover as soon as possible "Azad said. |
