| Ajay of Dogra Hr Sec brings laurels to school | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 3: Master Ajay Singh of class 8th of Dogra Hr. Sec. School, Shastri Nagar, Jammu was selected to participate in 28th World Speed Ball Championship held at Tunisia in which players of 28 countries participated.
Indian team comprising of seven players which included two players from J&K State participated in the said event. Master Ajay Singh representing J&K State secured fourth place in men's double and he has also been selected for next World Championship to be held at Egypt.
Master Ajay Singh was honored in the special Assembly with an appreciation letter from Gulchain Singh Charak (former Minister J&K Govt. and Founder of the school) which was handed over by the Principal Davinder Kour. Principal in her address lauded the pains taking efforts of Sunny Nanda (Speed ball Coach) for training the students so well that they can exhibit their skills at International level. She urged upon the students to take benefit of all the opportunities being provided to them by the school management for honing their skills in different games, activities and academics. |
