SGEJAC call on employees to buckle up struggle for recommendations of 7th pay commission | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 3: A meeting of State Government Employee's joint Action Committee was held today at Jammu under the Chairmanship of Sushil Sudan, senior member of the Joint Action Committee. The members present in the meeting raised the problems being faced by the employees in the field. It was unanimously decided that in prevailing time where prices of all the commodities are sky rocketing, the state Government should implement the recommendations of 7th Central Pay Commissions in the state without any delay. It is pertinent to mention that state like Haryana has already issued the Gazette notification regarding implementation of 7th pay commission. The senior leaders of SGEJAC appealed to the Govt. to take notice to the genuine demands of State Govt. Employees so that they may not suffer any more. It is impressed upon govt. that the genuine demands of the employees must be fulfilled without any delay to avoid any protest demonstration. Further SGEJAC requested all the employees to buckle up for any struggle to achieve the said goals specially to get the recommendations of 7th pay commission implemented in the Sate of J&K. The other major demands of State Government Employees are regularization of all the daily wager employees in all the departments, enhancement in the Medical Allowance from Rs. 300/- to Rs. 5000/-, removal of anomalies from almost all the categories of Non-Gazetted employees, dislocation allowance to the employees working in rural areas and equal HRA be given to the employees working in cities and rural areas. Prominent amongst others who attended the meeting were Subash Verma, Yash Pal Magotra, Kartar Dubey, Farooq Ahmed,. Vijay Kumar, Maheshwar Parsad, Jarnail Khokar, Madan Singh, Tilak Raj Gupta etc. |
