JAMMU, Nov 3: Buds and Blossoms, Pre-primary School, 1/C 1-c East Ext Marbel Market Trikutta Nagar on Thursday organised a dental-cum-medical camp as part of activity day in the school premises.
Dr. Ritu Kotwal (BDS), from Rajiv Gandhi Hospital, Gangyal Jammu conducted the dental check up of, while Dr Varun (MBBS, DCH, DNB) Pediatrics, Artemis Hospital Gurgaon Delhi conducted the medical check-up of the students.
Earlier, Dr. Ritu interacted with the students and extended awareness about the high importance of oral health. She also spoke about the techniques of perfect teeth brushing. Tooth brushes, tooth paste and mouth wash were distributed among the students on this occasion. Dr Varun in his health talk with children asked them to follow healthy routine. The asked students to follow the rule of washing hands before taking meals.
Renu Bhasin, Managing Director of the School , informed that health check-up of the students of the school is conducted periodically. She stressed that the personal and dental hygiene is an important part of routine hygiene which keeps an individual out of various problems.
