PDP workers ask CM to act against ministers | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 11: In the presence of Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti workers of PDP today complained against party ministers who are least concerned about problems being faced by the workers. PDP leaders during their meeting with Mehbooba Mufti regretted that party workers in Jammu are feeling ignored and neglected by the ministers depiste the fact that braving Modi wave in 2014 assembly polls, they had worked for the party in this region. Credible sources said that during their meeting with Mehbooba Mufti, PDP workers complained that party ministers are giving importance importance to influential persons at the cost of genuine workers, who have been associated with the party since long. Workers further complained that during their visit to Jammu, ministers preferred to stay at guest houses to enjoy hosptality of their respective departments instead of visiting party office to interact with party workers. Workers complained that after formation of government, the party leadership has abandoned Jammu based workers despite that fact that party has secored nearly four lakh votes from this region in the assembly elections. They cautioned that this attitude of party ministers would alinate Jammu based workers who are already feeling betrayed and ignored by the leadership. Today's meeting was convened by Chief Minister to interact with senior leaders and prominent workers to get information about performance of government and implementation of various schemes of the government at grassroot level. |
