'Inaccessible' BJP Mantris leave party workers in lurch
Enjoy power, without delivering!

Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 11: It has been a week when Durbar reopened in the winter capital but BJP ministers have been playing 'hide & seek' game with the workers of the party, not to speak of common masses for whom they are simply inaccessible and unapproachable by all means.
'Unreachable and difficult to catch' tag which was seen earlier and the standoffish attitude has remained unchanged with almost all the BJP ministers, despite occasional reprimand from the central leadership for their conduct.
Sources in the party said that workers and even senior functionaries of the organization who were keenly awaiting arrival of Durbar Move to Jammu are distraught and disappointed for all their struggle to have access to mantris. Their attempts to reach them have borne no result. The workers have been making frenzied rounds between the office chambers of ministers in the Civil Secretariat and their official residences in Jammu to meet them but it has proved to be a difficult task, as ever, sources said adding that during the last five working days in the Secretariat, even though ministers have registered their presence in the offices, they are not easily available for them.
Most of the BJP functionaries and the workers have been trying in vain to get in touch with their ministers for various public related or personal works which have been pending for months, sources said adding that the Mantris could not provide any help when Durbar was in Srinagar.
The stay of Durbar in Srinagar did not bear any result for over 4 months, this affected the working of the government with little or no presence of staff in the offices.
While many BJP workers moved to Srinagar during this period for some important works but their files could not make any desired movement due to absence of the staff, sources said adding that the party ministers too pleaded helplessness, which they understood well. During this period, it may be recalled, most BJP ministers stayed put in Jammu , partly out of fear as their colleagues in PDP were attacked and faced intimidation by the miscreants. However, they were pinning all hopes on arrival of Durbar in Jammu. They (BJP workers) were of the opinion that all pending works and files would see fast disposal, something which was assured by the ministers to them who made frequent visits to Srinagar.
However, much to their disappointment the workers are finding no change in the attitude of the 'inaccessible' lot of ministers of their own party.
Sources said when the workers reach office chambers, they are told the ministers have just left for their residences and when they reach the residences, they are pushed away by the staff saying 'sahab meeting kay liye gaye hain…baad main aao…(Sahib has left for meeting come later)."
