"The complex comprising of around two dozen shops, and it can be sources employment for four dozen people", they said, expressing resentment toward SICOP and district administration. Surjit Singh, a local said that it seems the complex was constructed for want of commissions (share) by the administration of that time. "The complex is located along Jammu-Pathankot high and has huge potential, if shops and restaurants are opened", Singh and added that five years back when planning to rent-out was being made large number of unemployed youths had applied. He further said in the past department spent money for its construction and if the corporation repairs the complex it would again costs heavily.
