40 students had miraculous escape in 'road mishap' 11/12/2016 12:09:59 AM Early Times Report Rajouri, Nov 11: Forty students of a private institution in Manjakote of Rajouri district today had a miraculous escape after the school bus in which they were travelling in met with a mishap near village Dehri Rehlyot on Jammu-Poonch highway this afternoon. About forty students of a private school in Rajouri district today had a narrow escape when the bus in which they were traveling in collided head on with a taxi . .Police sources said the bus bearing registration No.JK11B-1017 belong to LK Public School, Manjakot on way to Bhimber Gali to drop the children after the school was closed had a head on collision with a Tavera Taxi bearing registration No. JK02R-8529 at about 1.30 pm near Dehri Rehlyot village on Jammu-Poonch highway. "The driver of the Taxi sustained serious injuries and was taken in an ambulance to district hospital at Rajouri" said a police officer. An eyewitness said, "Had the driver not succeeded in stopping the bus in time, it would have rolled down into a deep gorge. "The present of mind of Driver had saved the precious lives of many children, they added.
