Ramban, Dec 10: National Lok Adalat was organized at district court complex, Ramban today under the supervision of Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Pr. District & Sessions Judge, Ramban , Kalpana Revo . Besides Bar Members,litigants ,and it was also attended by large no of public.
Two benches were constituted for holding the Lok Adalat. The Bench No.1 headed by Kalpana Revo Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Ramban and assisted by advocate Arjun Singh Raju Bar president Ramban , The Bench No. 2 headed by Munsiff Judge Banihal Mudassar Farooq and assisted by Tehsildar Ramban Gurpreet Singh , Beside this even lok adalat was held at Tehsil Batote , Banihal Ukheral and Gool also . Tolal number of 451 cases of Civil, Criminal, PHE , Electricity and Bank caseds were settled on spot by mediation and reconciliation before National Lok Adalat an amount of Rs. 37,61,738 was settled in these cases. A fine of Rs. 1,40,100 was also realized on spot in these cases. |
