Jammu, Dec 10 : In a contempt petition, a high court division bench of Chief Justice N Paul Vasanthakumar and Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur today directed SSP, Jammu, to secure the presence of director school education (DSE), Jammu, before the court. The bench ordered the SSP to produce DSE before the court on December 17, 2016. Earlier, the bench observed that on the request of counsel for the respondents, the court had on November 25, 2016 granted two weeks' time to report compliance. It was specifically mentioned in the order that if compliance order was not produced, DSE would appear in person, the court said.
The counsel for the respondents submitted that inspite of his communication, the DSE was not responding. "In such circumstances, SSP, Jammu, is directed to secure the presence of DSE before this court on December 17, 2016," the bench directed. |
