Gita Jayanti celebrated 12/10/2016 11:25:40 PM Early Times Report ramban, Dec 10: The Gita Jayanti was celebrated at Yatri Bhavan of Raghunath Mandir in Ramban with religious fervour and gaiety, here today. It is for the 17th time that Pt. Mohan Lal, Organiser, Shri Gita Ramayan Prachar Samiti, Ramban has organised the Gita Jayanti under the aegis of his Guru Shri Shri 1008 Shri Swami Satyamitranand Giri Ji Maharaj. The programme began with Gita Granth Poojan and Swasti Vaachan which was followed by Gita Paath and Pravachan by the prominent preachers including Pt. Mohan Lal and Pt.Virender Sharma. The programme concluded with the Aarti Poojan and Prasaad distribution. Pt. Virender Sharma mesmerised the large gathering of devotees with his Bhajans.The children also recited the Gita shlokas. Deputy Chief Education Officer, Ramban Bal Ji Thaploo was the chief guest on the occasion who gave away the prizes to the winners of the Gita Gyan Prashnotri Pratiyogita (Gita Questionnaire Answering Competition) and Gita debate competition. Ranjay Kumar, Karnail Singh and Chhinmay Jyoti stood first, second and third respectively in the Gita Gyan Prashnotri Pratiyogita (Gita Questionnaire Answering Competition) held earlier some days back.
