| CCF express concern over unscheduled power cuts | | | Early Times Report
doda, Dec 10: A meeting of Chenab Citizen Forum (CCF) Doda was held today at Doda which was chaired by its President Mehboob Ahmed Tak.
The meeting was called upon by CCF Doda to discuss the various issues and problems being faced by the people of Doda region.
The main issue which was discussed in the meeting was about unscheduled power cuts in Doda and other parts of the District from the last more than one month which has made the life of public very hard in this winter season.
Other issues like Old District Hospital Doda was also raised in the meeting which was named as Mother and Child Hospital for which an amount of Rs 125 Lacs was released by the Govt but unfortunately out of which only 20% work has been completed so far in last two years as per Hospital Building Committee. In addition to it, the worst condition of Doda-Batote National Highway was also rose which is in very bad condition and State Govt has yet failed to take necessary steps for its improvement.
The members of CCF Doda appealed the State Govt and concerned department to look into these issue in priority basis and redress these demands at an earliest so that people of this region may not suffer anymore.
Those present in the meeting were Ghulam Hassan Tak, Gian Chand Bhagat, Khurshid Misger, Dr Basharat Kraipak, Mohammad Shafi Nalcha and others. |
