Jammu, Dec 12: J&K Private Schools Association (JKPSA) today alleged that the state government is discouraging private schools. Addressing a press conference here today, Chairmanship JKPSA, Prof. J L Kotwal said that the State government is discouraging, unaided private schools which are working for the welfare of mankind. While speaking, he said that it is unfortunate that today's education has become a mean of cheap politics-Moreover a nation cannot grow if its education and health is ignored. "To overcome the chronic ailment the members of J&K Private schools presented number of memorandums to the higher officials of the concerned departments but issuing draconian orders to discourage the marginal profit grower unaided Private schools only has become fashion by the successive Governments at state level", he added. "Now we are forced by the circumstances to approach the 4th strongest pillar to support the volunteers' who are promoting education by sacrificing their services by charging meager amount at every nook, corner of the state and sharing 50% burden of the Government in education", he added. |
