Jammu, Dec 12: In order to provide proper health and medical services and awareness Jat Kalyan Sabha President Choudhary Kamal Singh organized a free medical/consultation camp at village Jumbian Jattan, Tehsil Bishnah, District Jammu. The camp was inaugurated by S.S. Bijral IPS IGP Retd and State Convener of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao in presence of Ch Kamal Singh, Satish Bharti and Ch Bishan.
A team of specialist doctors from various disciplines provided free medical consultations and care to the local populace of the adjoining villages of Jumbain Jattan, Bulanday, Kothay, Bana Chack, Lalyana, Chorli, Dabber, Waziray Chak etc. These villagers not only provided free consultation/medical care but also educated about health awareness, seasonal skin diseases, Ortho problems, mental health problems and dental hygiene. Doctors explained to the patients and their attendants about the first aid procedures and other life saving skills. During interaction with the patients and attendants they stressed upon adopting healthy lifestyle to overcome the fear of diseases. Doctors advised patients to take healthy food, reduce salt intake, reduce weight, do regular exercise and Yoga.
