Mandi, Dec 12: More than ten years have passed, the Mandi to Saloonia road is yet to complete after expending of crore of rupees. According to the sources the earthwork on the said road was started before more than ten years. Due to negligence of district administration Poonch especially the carelessness of said department the people of the rural village are yet pedestrians. Locals among Mohd Azeem, Abdul Hamid and others said, after earthworks the work of the road is stopped. This is very dangerous road of a hilly area, they informed Early Times. Dilapidated conditions of the said road and continued overloading on the road are calling the innocent people to lose their precious lives. They said, although they have approached many times to district administration directly and through media too but all in vain, because the dead and blind administration is mindless. They appealed to chief minister Mehbooba Mufti to intervene in the matter personally and do the long pending demands of public of rural area full at earliest. |
