KP migrants list demands 12/12/2016 10:59:45 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 12: Terming the relief organization a defunct organization, Kashmiri Pandits took a scathing attack for its failure to mitigate the problems of the community and alleged that Relief Department has adopted a lackadaisical approach towards the migrants. "Be it inclusion of wards in the ration cards or bifurcation of families the Relief organization adopts a lackadaisical approach towards the migrants," said social worker Sunil Pandita during a meeting here today. He said for the last couple of months many such cases were pending at Relief office but no action is being taken by the concerned men at helms. Pointing towards the delay in disbursement of monthly cash assistance, Sunil said we depend upon it but I fail to understand how the authorities forget to release it on time while as the whole system is put on line. It seems a deliberate attempt to harass the KP community, Pandita alleged. Demanding immediate intervention of the higher authorities, Sunil Pandita urged that the life of KP migrants have become miserable especially in camps but atleast we urge that our monthly cash assistance, ration to depots be released in time every month besides the pending cases of migrants eating dust in Relief organization office for months together be cleared at the earliest added Sunil.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
