Police rescues illegally confined woman 12/12/2016 11:01:02 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 12: Police today claimed to have rescued a woman from illegal confinement of her father-Kaku Gujjar of Kadyal Gujjar Basti R S Pura who had chained his daughter for last six days. "Acting swiftly on the complaint regarding illegal confinement of a woman namely Rani Bibi alias Gasso, the police headed by Bushan Singh Manhas SHO RS Pura reached the house at Kadyal Gujjar Basti RS Pura and rescued the woman, who was allegedly confined since past six days, police spokesperson said. The police said that after her rescue, the concerned police have registered a case in this connection FIR No- 186/2016 u/s 343/323/506/504/34 RPC against the accused and further investigation taken up. Police further said that woman was tied by her father and accomplices with iron chains at his house in inhuman conditions. Police said that apart from above said FIR, a case under FIR No 76/16 u/s 366/109 RPC also stands registered at PS RS Pura on the complaint of Kaku Gujjar regarding the kidnapping of same lady.
