JDC expresses astonish on Mehbooba's statement | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 14: Expressing astonishment on the repeated statements of Mehbooba Mufti asking Modi Government to take Vajpayee line while dealing with Pakistan, Jammu Development Council has urged the Chief Minister to come clear as to the outcome on the vexed issue and what she herself expects. In a press statement, JDC president Inderjeet Khajuria said that Modi did follow Vajpayee line and in his sincerity made an unexpected visit to Pakistan on Nawaz Sharief’s birthday to wish him, while ignoring all the limits of protocol and what did he get in return that was a terror attack on Pathankot airbase, exactly which the then Prime Minister Vajpayee got, when he took bus ride to Lahore and got Kargil incursion in 1999 in return against India. He said that the problem between India and Pakistan is alive since the independence and there has been so many doctrines and political suggestions but the problem is still existing after about 7 decades. He said that NC has proposed state autonomy as a part of solution, whereas PDP is pursuing self rule doctrine, caring least for the constitution of India besides ignoring aspirations of people of Jammu and Ladakh regions. He said that PDP is representing bit of percentage like that of NC and they are boasting for whole of the state, which is matter of grave concern. He said that Dr Farooq Abdullah repeatedly advocated that LoC should be converted into IB to end all sort of problems. He said that Pakistan has so bad intention that it wants to keep the Kashmir burning with an ulterior motive to divide India by encouraging the separatists to make Kashmir an Islamic state which it will never succeed. He further said that the irrelevant statements of Mehbooba Mufti depict her confusion over credibility of Common Minimum Programme of the coalition government to give corruption free and transparent governance, which by and large has not materialized due to multiple reasons as well. |
