Non-Teaching Employees Union calls for token demonstration in front of VC secretariat 12/14/2016 10:42:32 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 14: Executive body of the Non-Teaching Employees Union, University of Jammu today called two hour token demonstration in front of Vice-Chancellor Secretariat in University of Jammu in which all the employees participated with regard to fulfillment of their long pending issues. The Executive body appealed the Vice-Chancellor to consider the genuine demands of the employees. The Non-Teaching Employees Union implemented Work to Rule in the University of Jammu w.e.f 4.11.2016 and has given sufficient time to the authorities. The Executive body of Non Teaching Employees of the University of Jammu apprised the employees about the issues already submitted to the authorities for consideration. During the demonstration various issues were also raised by the employees especially the attitude and approach of the authorities towards the genuine issues of Non Teaching Fraternity and the facilities provided to them. The matter regarding Creation of Posts, Fully Computerization of Administration, Accounts, re-designation of technical & isolated categories and other various long pending issues of pay anomalies etc were also discussed. The Union urged the authorities to finalize the cases which are still pending with the Financial Advisor (Universities). The Non Teaching Employees take out peaceful march in the University of Jammu. The Protest demonstration will continue till 20-12-2016 as per circular issued by the JUNTEU. The demonstration was addressed by Pawan Singh (President), Sham Sharma (General Secretary) and Vikas Langer (Org. Secretary). Sanjeev Chadha(Jt. Sect.), Abhinav Sharma(Treasurer), Niranjan Singh Charak, Joginder Singh, Kewal Kumar, Padam Shri Padamani, Sunita Amla, and Jasjeet Singh were also present during the demonstration.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
