JAMMU, Nov 25: For the last one week, there is a news doing rounds in the J&K police headquarters (PHQ) that a senior IPS officer, has purchased a palatial bungalow outside Jammu.
As one enters the PHQ, any officer known to you would ask, "Do you know that one of our senior colleagues has purchased a bungalow worth crores?"
Even the sentries and other lower rank cops are heard discussing what they call 'open secret.'
Some dismiss it as a rumour, but others at the PHQ and even some retired police officers have been sharing it with each other and their acquaintances.
