NPSU protestors torch effigy of Deputy CM

Jammu, Apr 9: National Panthers Student Union (NPSU) today held a protest demonstration in the University Campus in protest against the cowardly surrender of AIIMS to Kashmir by the BJP leadership.
According to press release, the protestors who gathered in large number in front of the university gate raised anti BJP slogans and burnt the effigies of BJP legislators for passively surrendering on the issue of AIIMS with no voice raised in the Assembly by any of their during the three week Assembly session that concluded today.
Speaking on the occasion, Thakur Virender Singh said that Kashmir already had SKIMS facility with all super facility privileges and still the newly sanctioned AIIMS was also given to Kashmir by the opportunist BJP only for power sake.
He said that the Jammu people faced sever health care problems with utterly fragile tertiary care system in Jammu region.
Strongly flaying the highly submissive approach of BJP, Thakur Virender Singh warned to BJP to desist from its policies of duplicity and decent and take measures for restoration of AIIMS back to Jammu region. He said NPSU shall launch a full throttle campaign against the BJP for its betrayal of Jammu people and for establishment of AIIMS in Jammu.
Others who were present in the protest demonstration included Rishi Badyal, Lovely Singh, Bhupinder Singh, Kanu Sharma, Asha Rani, Shubam Jasrotia, Sumit Singh, Amit Charak, Labu Ram, Rahul Sharma etc.
