BJP's MLAs, MLCs projecting cops responsible for committed atrocities during Amarnath land row 4/10/2015 10:06:32 AM Early Times Report JAMMU, Apr 9: Some BJP leaders including some MLAs and MLCs are active these days to introduce "tainted" police officers to the leaders to the leaders of Sangh Parivar to get them adjusted on important postings. Not only BJP leaders are projecting "tainted" officers but they are also trying to introduce those cops to the Sangh Parivar leaders who were responsible for committing atrocities on people during Amarnath land agitation in the year 2008. Credible sources in the Sangh Parivar said that "powerful" police officers, who were at the helm of the affairs during Amarnath Land agitation in the year 2008, have influenced some BJP leaders who are working as agents for these police officers to get them suitable positing. "A senior police officer, who was responsible for committing atrocities on Sangrash Samiti activists during agitation, is seen accompanying BJP leaders to remove differences with Sangh leaders", a senior party leader said on the condition of the anonymity and added that instead of ignoring these officers who used excessive force against people during 2008 stir, BJP leaders including some MLAs and MLCs were seen introducing these cops to the party ministers. "It is widely perceived that these influential police officers have bribed BJP leaders for getting them close to Sangh Parivar leaders so that they will get important postings", sources said and added that Sangh Parivar leaders also giving much importance to those police officers who were in the fore-front to inflict atrocities on people during Amarnath land stir.
