Practical exam: Legalized corruption, examiners loot students; authorities unmoved 4/9/2015 11:08:18 PM Early Times Report Doda, Apr 9: As it has become a tradition in Doda District that some teachers are being appointed repeatedly in exam duties especially practical exam duties in rural areas and like schedule of few years same teachers who are working as permanent agents of the BOSE have been appointed this year too by CEO office and BOSE authorities of J & K BOSE sub centre Doda. All India students Federation District president Mahesh chandail demanded immediate action against the persons involved in this Mafia. "Some parents claimed that teachers appointed as examiners in practical exams charged Rs 200 and Rs 300 per student respectively from the student who had prepared practical note book are being charged Rs 200 and who had not prepared note book are being charged Rs 300 to pass the practical exam", Chandial said. He further said that a Mafia between the concerned authorities and some selected teachers who are being repeatedly deputed to conduct the practical exams in the SSE, 10th class exams Practical exam. "Practical exam means of corruption H S Shadiwan topped in the list where Master Anand Kosher posted as examiner has conducted the Practical exam of 105 students in a single day created history by keeping away all the norms of J & K BOSE. As per rules group of 18 students have to be examine in morning shift and the same no of students in the evening group, as per this schedule he has to examine the students in three days", he alleged, adding that the teacher collected cash from students and concluded the exam in a single day. "Kashmir Singh Tr appointed H S Chill, Kuldeep Singh HS Balandpur, Youg HSS Dessa, Shameem Ahmed, H S Behota, Showket Ali from Kencha who is working under juridection BOSE sub centre Bhlessa Gundho appointed as practical examiner at HSS Jatheli, Dalip Raj teacher appointed as practical examiner in two centres at HSS kastighar and HSS Ghat and many other Schools In rural areas like HSS Bharat, HSS Gundna, H S Hanch, H S Udhynpur, HSS Assar are the schools where it has become the routine work to collect money from poor rural students to pass them in practical exams every year", Chandial said. According to press release, when contacted Assistant secretary Board of school Education sub centre Doda on phone he claims that I have no involvement in this Mafia and list of teachers is being provided by CEO office and we are dependent on CEO office. On the other hand when contacted Chief Education officer Ajeet sharma he claims that some teachers are involved in BLO and other essential duties so I have provided the list of teachers available with this office. He further said that it's responsibility of local Board to allot the centres to the teachers and change the repeaters if any.
