Sewa-II Power station exceeds targets in Power generation by 14.23% | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 9: The 120 MW Sewa-II Power Station of NHPC, Mashka (Jammu and Kashmir) has exceeded its MOU targets set for 'Excellent' ratings both in terms of Power Generation as well as Plant Availability Factor (PAF) for the year 2014-15. At the end of Financial Year 2014-15, the Sewa-II Power station has generated 594.01 MUs (Million Units) which is 14.23% higher than its target of 520 MUs. The Power Station also recorded highest PAF among 18 Power Stations of NHPC i.e. 97.1% which is 11.6% higher than our target of 87%. It is also the highest generation since commissioning. Against the scheduled generation of 2.88 MU per day Power Station has generated 3.173 MU in one day i.e. all time highest till date since commissioning. Power Station under Corporate Social Responsibility Sustainable Development Scheme has spent Rs.63 lacs. on different social activities for local public in this financial year. PK Langer, Chief Engineer-I/c Sewa-II Power Station has credited the hard work and perseverance of all officers and personnel of Sewa-II Power Station towards the achievement of these milestones. |
