NSUI protests against V K Singh, burns his effigy

Jammu, Apr 9: National Students Union of India (NSUI) activists held a protest against BJP led Government over the remark of Gen V K Singh (Retd) targeting 'media'.
Led by Neeraj Kundan State President NSUI, J&K the protestors raised the slogan against the BJP led Govt and burnt the effigy of Gen V K Singh outside the Press Club Jammu to register their protest.
Condemning the remark of V K Singh over media, Kundan said the remarks shows the mentality of BJP govt and when the party fails to fulfill the promises made during elections it started blaming media for exposing.
"It's not for the first time that BJP leaders have made such remark but such type of remarks have become a routine affair for the party leaders to divert the intension of public regarding "Black Money and Acchay Din…..," Kundan added.
He warned BJP leadership to take strict against such leaders instead of briefly opting to sideline or playing it down.
Ajay Kumar National Delegate NSUI and Avijot Singh General Secretary NSUI also spoke on this occasion.
Among others who participated in this protest included Kamal Mangotra State General Secretary, Nishant Gupta, Ranjot Singh and Abhishek Dogra (all Secretaries), Sahil Singh Langeh State Coordinator,
