442nd Parkash Utsav of Guru Nabha Dass ji celebrated with traditional gaiety 4/9/2015 11:55:11 PM Early Times Report Kathua, Apr 9 : The Parkash Utsav of Goswami Guru Nabha Dass Ji was celebrated at Kathua with traditional religious fervor and enthusiasm in which large number of devotees participated. Som Nath, District President of All J&K Mahasha Sadar Sabha stated that 442nd Parklash Utsav of Goswami Guru Nabha Dass ji was celebrated at Kathua. Programme started with impressive Shobha Yatra taken out in Kathua which started from Dr Ambdekar Bridge and after passing from various markets culminated again at Dr Ambedkar Bridge. Hundred of devotees participated in procession which created a spiritual ambiance with enchanting of Bhajans dedicated to Guru Nabha Dass Ji. Later a special Havan Yagya was also performed at the site of the function. Dr Bharat Bhushan, Chief Executive Officer, Lakhanpur Sarthal Development Authority was the chief guest while Som Raj Majotra Retired Joint Director Accounts and Treasuries and Rattan Chand (Retd) SP and President All J&K Mahasha Sadar Sabha guests of honour attended community congregation held at temple site. The chief guest Dr Bharat Bhushan, CEO Lakhanpur Sarthal Development Authority in his address exhorted the devotees to follow the path of as shown by Guru ji and other social reformers. He stressed for the need for education of the children especially of girl Child. Prominent among those present on the occasion included Sardar Manohar Singh General Secretary Pardesh Congress Committee, Dr Paramjeet Sharma, Prof Sain Dass, Lok Nath Dogra, Distt Agriculture Officer and Bansi lal Lecturer.
