| MIER Felicitates Its B.Ed, M. Ed Students | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 9: The students brought laurels to the MIER College in recently concluded Annual Cultural Fest, 'Resurgence: 2015' organized by Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), Katra.
As many as 19 students including three boys and 16 girls both from B.Ed and M.Ed departments participated in the meet. They clinched second prize in the following activities: debate, group extempore, face painting, poster making and group dance. Mrs. Shivani Kapoor, a M.Ed student, bagged the 1st prize in solo classical Kathak dance.
Dr. Arun Gupta, Chairman, MIER group of institutions, congratulated the participants on their achievements and encouraged them to actively participate in future also both at the state and national levels. Dr. Renu Gupta, Director MIER, in addition to congratulating the winners; appreciated the efforts of Ms. Komal Sharma, Convener, co-curricular committee of the college.
Amarjot Kour, Cultural Coordinator MIER, worked hard to prepare students for different dance items for the event.
Ghulam Murtaza and Mr. Prahlad Sharma, M. Ed students, participated as Ambassadors of MIER College in the meet and facilitated in smooth conduct of cultural items of the college. |
