Jammu, May 8: Police Academy Udhampur organized a three days course on 'e-governance' for DDOs of Police. The course was an initiatives of the police in the field of e-governance as police department has high interaction with citizen, government, judiciary, human rights activists and to become effective in control of all forms of crime criminal activities, increase the accessibility to the common man, secure environment to citizens better management of human resources, equipment and use of law.
The course was inaugurated by the Director SKPA Udhampur Rajesh Kumar IPS, IGP which was attended by 23 officers (10- SSPs and 13 SPs) of Jammu and Kashmir Police. The course was coordinated by Sh. Kamal Sharma CPO, in which DC Jammu Ajit Kumar Sahu IAS, Rahul Pandit, Director IDEOGRAM Tech. Solutions, Lovenesh Kapoor, CA Jammu, S.K.Raina, Sr. Audit Officer (Rtd.), Ajay Koul Asstt. Prof. SMVDU, Dr. Manoj Bhatt, Dept. of Economics University of Jammu deliberated on various issues concerning 'e-Governance', its challenges, initiatives, cyber security DC Jammu Ajit Kumar Sahu IAS presented the live demonstrations of e-file movement of his office and discussed elaborately the implementation of concept of e-governance in Jammu District. |
