Kishtwar NRHM aspirants seek selection list 5/8/2015 10:55:04 PM Asif Iqbal Naik early Times Report Jammu, May 8: The short listed candidates from district Kishtwar who were interviewed several months ago for various posts under National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) scheme have demanded release of the selection list lying with Deputy Commissioner who is the chairmen of the selection committee. The candidates were interviewed for the posts of Dental Surgeons, Physiotherapists, Audio/Speech Therapists, Psychologist, Optometrist, Dental Technician, Laboratory Technicians, Early Interventist cum Special Educator, Social Worker, Junior Staff Nurse (JNS), ANMs, Adolescent Health Counselor and IYCF female multipurpose health workers (FMPHW). While talking to Early Times, the aspirants said that the interviews of the candidates of district Kishtwar were held in March 2015, but they fail to understand why selection list has not been released. They suspected something fishy in the selection process. "Even though it was mentioned in advertisement No CMO/K/NRHM/1612-22 and dated :18-02-2015 that the initial contract will be for a period up to 31st of March 2016 subject to continuation of the scheme, but even then unnecessary delay is caused" said the aggrieved applicants. Chief Medical Officer informed the ET that the selection process has been completed and the list of selected candidate has already been forwarded to Deputy Commissioner for his approval as Chairmen of the selection committee. He said that hopefully the process will be completed within a week.
