Missing Rajouri teen recovered from Reasi

Rajouri, May 8: Rajouri police today claimed to have recovered an eight class missing student of Army Goodwill Public(AGP) school within 48 hours from a village in Reasi district today.
"Identified as Natish Kumar s/o Subedar Raj Kumar -a student of 8th class at Army Goodwill Public (AGP) School Rajouri went missing from the Hostel in early morning on May 6 and was traced by the police in the house of his grandfather in a village in Reasi district," police sources said.
They added after a few hour search within the school campus, the school administration later at afternoon brought the matter into the notice of Rajouri Police on May 6.
"After the complaint lodged and vide Daily Diary (DD) No 11 Rajouri Police under the directions of SSP Rajouri Dr Haseeb Mughal swung into action and after scrutiny of school record including visitor register of hostel it was established that one Tarun Sharma commanding officer of GREF Company based at Bathooni was the guardian of the student, police sources said.
Tarun Sharma was contacted by the police and it was established that Nitish is a son of Subedar posted in the company and resident of Reasi area. "Police then tracked the mobile phone call of the students and his presence was noticed in Pouni area in Reasi district on Thursday, police sources said adding, "a police party was rushed to Pouni and it was established that the student had gone to meet his grandfather in village Thillu in Reasi as he has a step-mother at Bathooni" said Yash Pal Singh, SHO.
Police recovered the boy from his grandfather's house and brought him to Rajouri today and later handed over to school administration.
"During questioning of the boy- a fresher in school (admitted only a month ago)," police sources said adding, "he couldn't adjust himself in the school/ hostel atmosphere and want to meet his family members."
"Nitish skipped from the school hostel to meet his grandfather at Thillu without intimating school authorities that created confusion about his where about, police sources said.
