Jammu, May 17: Love of Jammu and Kashmir Khadi & Village Industries Board (JKVIB) for the National Conference (NC) party could be well gauged from the fact that former NC Minister Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo is still shown as the Minister of State (Independent Charge), Industries and Commerce Department on its webpage http://jkkvib.nic.in/contact.html.
Not only this, former NC Minister Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo is also shown as the Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Khadi & Village Industries Board. "Sh. Sajjad Ahmad Kichloo Hon'ble MOS (Independent Charge), I&C Chairman KVIB Civil Secretariat Srinagar/Jammu 0191-2549670 0191-2565249 0194-2479485 0194-2479475", is what appears on the JKVIB website after opening the link http://jkkvib.nic.in/contact.html.
It is shameful on the part of the government that in an era when information are available at one button click, most of the government websites are either full of errors or not updated for the last over one or two years. In a similar instance, on the website of Health and Medical Education Department, Jammu and Kashmir, the Action plans for providing 100% safe deliveries, Action plan for reducing infant mortality rate and neonatal mortality rate, Action plan for blood transfusion in Jammu and Kashmir state and Action plans for training are available for the year 2012-13 and no the current year i.e. 2015-16.
In another case, the last order on the website of Department of Public Health Engineering (PHE), Irrigation and Flood Control (I&FC) Department regarding permission of type test was last updated in the year 2014 whereas on the website of Jammu and Kashmir Social Welfare Department the last notice available is of the date of 09.01.2014.
Few days ago, Early Times had reported a news story titled 'Independent MLA' Dr. Manohar Lal Sharma is still MoS Cooperatives on official website' and guess how morbid is the administration in the Cooperative Department that the mistake is till date not corrected. |
