SRINAGAR, may 17: To review security situation situation ahead of annual Amarnath Yatra, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh is likely to visit the State next week, reports said.
According to reports, Singh also will review the overall security situation of Jammu and Kashmir. The reports emanated after Mufti's deputy, Dr Nirmal Singh extended an informal invitation to the Union Home Minister for Amarnath pilgrimage.
During the hour long meeting, according to reports, Dr Nirmal Singh apprised the Union Home Minister about the latest political and security situation in Jammu and Kashmir vis-à-vis forthcoming Amarnath Yatra, which is scheduled to begin from July 2. |
