Jammu, May 17: Chandigarh based Aryans Group of Colleges (AGC) is going to organize career counseling camp on 30th May at its campus. Students of 10th, +2 and graduation of JK region can participate in this camp. To register and participate students can give missed call on 1800-30000-388.
The career counseling and Guidance camp will focus on providing guidance to students of 10th and 12th on how to select a Career suitable to their abilities, interest and personality. In order to keep the interest of the parents proper guidance of various skill based courses will be provided.
Prof. BS Sidhu, Registrar, Aryans Group said that that such an initiative is taken keeping in mind that the student's especially rural students after passing out of 10+2/ graduation are not much aware about the career opportunities available to them. The camp would aim at to aware students about various courses, colleges, streams, eligibility criteria, fees structure, job opportunity.
Prof. AP Jain, Director, Aryans Group giving more information said that 10th/10+2/Graduation are such type of juncture where wrong planning can spoil the career of the candidate. So the right type of planning is required at right time. Students should not only know details of the course to be joined, but also the scope of that course after 3-5 years when candidate would complete this course.
He further added that the Aryans Team will guide students and parents through audio- visual aids on courses available like B.Tech, MBA, BBA, BCA, BA, B.Com, Polytechnic Diploma, +1(Non Medical) etc., their eligibility criteria and fee structures. They will also made the students aware about the scope of courses when the candidate would complete that course. |
