JK Bank officials' aware students about PMJSY, PMJJY | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, May 17: To aware the students and their parents and others, by using the student's channel , about the recently introduced 'Pardhan Mantri Jeevan Jayoti Yojna (PMJJY) and 'Pardhan Mantri Jeevan Surksha Yojna' (PMJSY) , the officials of Jammu and Kashmir Bank held awareness camps in the schools. The camps were organized by the Jawahar Nagar Branch of Jammu and Kashmir bank Rajouri at government higher secondary school (GHSS) at Jamola and GHSS at Kalalkas of Tehsil Rajouri. Branch head Sunil Sharma aware the students about both the schemes and gave a detailed discussion about the policies. "Account holders between 18 years (completed) and 70 years (age nearer birthday) and who give their consent to join/ enable auto debit, as per the moralities, would be eligible/ will be enrolled into the scheme" said Sunil Sharma. He added that as for as policy cover is concerned the cover shall be for one year period starting from June 1 , 2015 to May 31,2016 for which option to join / pay by auto debit from the designated Saving Bank Account on the prescribed forms will be required to be given by May 31,2015 (extendable up to August 2015). For saving account holder joining after May 31,2015 and on or before August 31,2015- the cover shall end on May 31,2015. He said that premium for the scheme would be Rs 12 per annum and it will be directly auti-debited by the bank from the subscriber's account and no other option is available for this scheme. Risk cover under this scheme (sum insured) is Rs 2 lakh , said Sunil Sharma. |
