JAMMU, Sept 9: On the second day of Two days workshop on the theme "Cleanliness and Healthy Life Style" being organized by NSS units of GGM Science College, Jammu, two lectures were delivered by the resource persons from Health Department of J&K. The resource persons on this occasion were Dr Vinod Sharma, BMO, Akhnoor and Dr Parvesh Kumar from Hiranagar.
The Chief Guest on the occasion was Dr Ajeet Angral, Nodal Principal, Jammu Division Colleges. The guests were welcomed by Dr Rajinder Singh, NSS Programme Officer of the College who gave details about the workshop. Dr Parvesh Kumar, resource person, gave Power Point Presentation on the subject "Healthy Life Style".
Dr Vinod Kumar through its Power Point Presentation expressed in detail about the importance of cleanliness in one's life to avoid communicable diseases. Later, a survey was conducted by Dr Vinod Kumar through a questionnaire to assess the problems of the students which was appreciated by the students.
Dr Ajeet Angral, Principal in his address asked the students to become role models to spread the message of "Cleanliness and Healthy Life Style" in the society. Later, a group discussion on the subject was undertaken by the volunteers and the counselling was done by Dr Parvesh Kumar. |
