Involvement of ACR, Patwari figures in alleged encroachment of State land 9/10/2015 12:36:05 AM Sumit Sharma Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 9: A complaint has been filed with Vigilance Orgainzation Jammu and Divisional Commissioner for attempt to encroach the state land with the connivance of the Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR) and Patwari concerned. However, taking cognizance of the matter, the Divisional Commissioner Jammu has directed the DC Poonch to hold inquiry at his personal level. The incident of the alleged involvement of the ACR, Poonch Shafiq Ahmed and Patwari Mohammad Ashraf to encroach state land with land grabber has surfaced in village Potha, Surnankote wherein ,against DC's judgment in which he declared the piece of land in question as state land, ACR attested the mutation of land in question in favour of the alleged encroacher, whereby made the latter as legally sound. The ACR's attested mutation came to fore when, in addition to the DC's judgment, the court had already ordered status quo. While the tug of war between DC and ACR Poonch was in progress over the piece of land in question measuring 1 Kanal 10 marla falls in khasra No 795 alleged to be encroached by one Naseem Hussain Shah of Potha on which he is stated to be raised additional construction for running school in the name and style of Dastgeer Academy , one Khalid Hussain Shah of Potha lodged complaint with the Vigilance Organization Jammu for probe and registration of the FIR accordingly. The similar complaint was also lodged with the Divisional Commissioner Jammu. In its communiqué no 901/CC/Poonch/687 to DC Poonch, Divisional Commissioner said, " Since this is serious matter ,hence you are directed to look in the matter personally and ensure that the appeal filed the matter is disposed of strictly under law as early as possible and ensure that any construction actually on the spot be stopped forthwith as apparently to stay ordered in the matter is being violated.
