Ramban, Oct 10: A widespread and intensive sanitation drive shall be carried out in the Ramban town under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan jointly by the district administration and general public on October 15.
This was disclosed by the Additional District Development Commissioner(ADDC), Ramban, Ravinder Kumar Sadhu today while chairing a meeting with the concerned officers in this regard. Following a thread bare discussion with the concerned officers on various activities to be organised in view of the "Swach Bharat Abhiyan" the ADDC directed the concerned officers to ensure the availability of broom sticks, spades, trolleys, phenyls, limestone and water. He also asked all the officers to remain present on the occasion along with their concerning officials for cleaning various streets, roads, working places and grounds.
The Executive Officer, MC, Zubeda Parveen was directed to make a detailed plan of the activities to be carried out in the Municipal and adjoining areas including the main bazaar and Maitra-Upper and Lower, District Hospital, Higher Secondary School, Government Girls High School, Ramban and bustand. XEn PHE/Hyd, Divivion Himesh Manchanda was asked to arrange plenty of water through water tanker service. ACD, Romin Sheikh, Medical Superintendent, Dr. Saifudin, DPO, BDOs and other officers were also present in the meeting. |
