LWWS stages nukkad play Hum Saab Ek Hai | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 10 : Lalded Women Welfare Society (LWWS) staged nukkad play Hum Saab Ek Hai at Bari-Brahmana, reflecting local disputes with remedial suggestions. According to press release, the play was written by Rampal and directed by Naveen Pal.The story opens with one poor farmer namely "Nattu" who is very simple, honest & hard working and he is looking after his ancestral land. He never went to revenue office for updating his revenue entry, when his father passes away he thought that now land will automatically transferred in his name. He as usual went agricultural activity to cultivate his land and started at there but he was objected by one "Ramu" who was quite mightily and belongs to higher community, he thrashed the Nattu and said that land is mine. He challenged to Nattu because he had moulded the revenue entry in his favour by setting with revenue authority. He told that he has already purchased this piece of land. Nattu astonished to know this. After exchanging hot words, Ramu pushed "Nattu" in the field and warmed for severe consequence. "Nattu" carried for help and at once the villagers rushed in protection of Nattu. They pulled back the Ramu and made him bound to take back his abusive words. The simplicity and honesty of Nattu ended the amicable solution of the problem. On seeing the matter slipping towards Nattu's favour. Ramu left the place giving a low tone warning to Nattu. So the dispute was solved and pacified through collective efforts & diverted the expected fight. On this occasion all the people assured the Nattu that your revenue recorded will be corrected accordingly and upheld the tradition of brotherhood in the village. The message of honesty & communal harmony was given by the artists. |
