Baramulla, Oct 10 : District Baramulla Rugby tournaments 2015 organized by District Baramullah Rugby Association under the aegis of J&K Rugby Association concluded today at Janbaz Sports Stadium, Baramulla.
Sheikh Mushtaq Ahmad, District Manager, Sports Council was the chief Guest & other officials from sports council which includes Khazir Mohammad, Kabaddi coach, Mohammad Ashraf, Handball Coach were present on the final ceremony.
20 teams in all 3 age groups compete in this event. "I am proud that our local children's have adopted this unique sport and the sport of Rugby is a recognized and one of the major sport in the olympics. We should organise more and more events so that our district baramulla players will get benefit from this sport, Sheikh Mushtaq said in his speech," they said. |
