Jammu, Oct 10: Leveling allegations of doctors' negligence, relatives of deceased who sustained injuries in a road accident on October 4 in Bishanah area today staged a protest after placing body of the deceased outside the emergency ward of the Government Medical college and Hospital (GMCH), this night. The deceased has been identified as Rakesh Kumar son of Omparkash of Bishnah. According to sources, Rakesh was admitted in the hospital on October 4 and today he failed to respond to the treatment. However, the relatives of the deceased claimed that the doctors administered overdose of the medicines causing his death. Relatives staged protest and raised slogans against the doctors and administration of the hospital demanding action against the doctor. Sensing the gravity of the situation, Police officers reached the spot and pacified the protestors. |
