Different category certificates distributed by Rev Dept 10/11/2015 12:34:30 AM Early Times Report RAMBAN, Oct 10: In order to provide services at their doorsteps, two camps were organised by Revenue Department (RD) in villages Kanthi and Demote of Tehsil Ramban whereat around hundred category certificates issued to the local people. Tehsildar Ramban, Gurpreet Singh Isher accompanied by Naib Tehsildar and field staff organised two camps in order to issue RBA/ST/SC/OBC certificates to the locals and to those who have to travel and walk in hours to reach the offices for category and other certificates. In the camps, objected files of category certificates were also discussed and spot verification was held with the help of Numberdar and Chowkidars. Senior citizens while appreciating such initiative of the revenue department, urged the Tehsildar for extending this programme in other villages also. They further stressed upon the Tehsildar to initiate such drives in the educational institutions.
