Police continues drive against gamblers

Sunderbani, Oct 10: Police today under the supervision of newly appointed SHO Police Station Sunderbani Narendra Singh Jamwal, held a drive against gamblers who used to gamble in the Army ground Sunderbani.
During the drive a large number of gamblers were picked up while gambling in the army ground. Later SHO held a meeting with the political related and locals of Sunderbani and discussed issues and problems faced by the locals. Many eminent citizens including PDP activist Manoj Kumar (Gogga) have appreciated initiative undertaken by the police.
The social workers Pankaj Raina also raised the issue of depleted condition of hospital road and the congestion on this stretch with the SHO. He apprised the SHO Sunderbani that the encroachment by the shopkeepers is the main cause of jams. Locals also raised the issue of eve teasing near school and colleges and sought its redressal.
SHO Sunderbani has assured the locals that their problems will be taken care off and sought locals support to mitigate the issues.
