Congress holds monthly meeting, condemns Omar's statement 10/11/2015 12:42:17 AM Early Time Report Vijaypur Oct 10 : Monthly Congress workers meeting was held at Vijaypur under the leadership of senior Congress leader Arun Sharma, during the meeting stating about the current status of BJP-PDP Govt. and highlighted several issues. Addressing the meeting, Arun Sharma has targeted BJP for its dual and surrendering policies and stated that BJP has stabbed the people of Jammu who have voted them into power. Speaking on the recent scenario in assembly Sharma said that BJP's silence on the issue has created a sense of uncertainty in the state. BJP is playing with emotions of Hindu sentiments the unclear stand on issues like tax on helicopter service, beef ban issue which has hurdled the sentiments of Hindus. He also said that the irresponsible statement of former CM Omar Abdullah yesterday, Omar said J&K is a Muslim majority state it is our religious obligation to eat beef. It is totally condemnable his grand-father, his father and he himself ruled J&K state for more than four decades. On the voices of secularism he has no right to tell this type of statements majority or minority. The people of Jammu specialy hindu community watching every politician on these hard time of state issues and spoken by the former CM on majority & minority it is clear that minority have no right as per statement. He appealed to the all community people be aware divisible forces/ as well as parties on any type of religious issues which we are divided.
