| JKDEA observes strike against Govt's callous attitude | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 15: All Jammu and Kashmir Diploma Engineers Association (JKDEA) observed strike as a mark of protest against the discriminatory and callous attitude of the government and present administration towards their long pending demands.
A large number of diploma engineers assembled at Lok Nirman Bhawan Bahu Plaza Jammu and raised their voice against the government. They alleged that the growing injustice and neglect to a cadre which is rendering unique and significant service to every nook and corner of the state has become intolerable.
Addressing gathering, president of association, Er Upinder Singh warned the government not to neglect this cadre anymore as today's pen strike was only a tip of the ice berg which shall be followed by the further sever course of action. He said they had approached the successive government of past and present but their appeals have always been turned a deaf ear to which resulted to adopt the path of agitation. |
